It's one thing to burn songs to a CD, but quite another to make your own CD jewel case jacket to really make your CD stand out! Not only is it easy and fun to do, but it's pretty essential, since the jacket contains album artwork and song information.
There are lots of ways to make your own CD jacket (PhotoShop, InDesign, Word, Pages, etc), but when it comes time to making a jacket for a CD you've made from a playlist in your iTunes library, there's really only one path you should consider taking... iTunes.
Yup! iTunes makes it really easy to create your own CDs (read more here) AND make your own Jacket. The final product could look like this:
This jacket took me about 15 seconds to make. That's it! "How did you do that so fast?" you might ask. iTunes does the work for me. Here's how to do it.
First, you need to make your play list. Once your playlist has been created, simply highlight the playlist on the left side of iTunes, then go to File > Print... This will open a new print dialog box, with several options to choose from.
Once you have made your selection, print, cut, fold and insert into your jewel case. That's it!
