Use Apple TV's New Aerial Screensaver On Your Mac

If you have a new (4th generation) Apple TV, you've probably already noticed the stunning new Aerial screensavers that are available. These beautifully shot scenes show off our beautiful planet, at least a few locations (Hawaii, New York City, San Francisco, London, China and more).

Wouldn't it be great if these same high-quality screensavers were available on your Mac? Well, they are, and you can get them for free!

The screensaver isn't an official screensaver released by Apple, but it uses the same video footage that Apple offers in their Apple TV screensavers.

To downloading this screensaver, go to and follow the simple instructions.

Videos are categorized by location and time-of-day (day vs. night). You can enable and disable different scenes, depending on your personal preference. You can even feature a different scene on each display you have connected to your Mac.
